Version 2.0 Release Notes

Versions of the xloop executable for Solaris2.x and HP-9000 (using PA-RISC 1.1 version of the CPU) machines are now available.

1 Feb 1995

The xloop executable was updated. Executables for any operating systems other than SunOS4.1.3 are no longer available. Therefore, if you are using any other operating system, you must compile the updated source code that is available for copying.

1 July 1994

The labeling on the time-size and time-longitude plots has been improved. The weekly PHC maps have been replotted using Mercator projection to improve their readability in the Indian Ocean and central Pacific.
