Tower and radiation systems functioned well. Temperatures at Meck ranged from 26.5 c to 27.5 C, and relative humidity from 65% to 85%. Winds were primarily E NE. Wind speeds ranged from 5 –7 m/s. Tethersonde soundings were done at 20:00z and 23:00z on August 17^th, and at 05:00z, 11:00z and 17:00z on August 18^th.
