Tower and radiation measurement systems functioned well. Tethersonde soundings were done at the regular synoptic times of 17:00z and 23:00z on August 18^th, and at 05:00z, 11:00z and 17:00z on August 19^th. A new sound system was used on tethered balloon flights after the August 19^th flights. Both the 11:00z and the 17:00z flights produced accurate and compatible data. However due to a rainstorm only the ascending flight produced reliable data. Air Temperatures range from 25.9C –29.2C. There were NE winds for a majority of the day with wind speeds ranging from 3-5 m/s with gusts as high as 7 m/s. The relative humidity was as high as 85% (17:00z Aug 19) and as low as 63% (22:59 Aug 18^th).
