Additional Information on the Project: Climate of the Past

Group presentation:

1) The main point of difficulty in this project will be not to get material, because there is plenty available in the library and on the internet (check out the new link on the class home page) but to find a focus within the broad topics that were assigned to the group. You don’t need to explain everything about your whole time span, just try to find an interesting focus, that can be reasonbly well explained in 15 to 20 minutes. Your consultants can be definetly helpful in that.

Indiviadual papers:

Individual papers can be on any topic, that is related to past climate, they have not to be related to the group focus at all, if somebody is interested in something or in a different time scale than the group project hey were part of. But of course they may be related to the group project, if you were happy with that topic.
