Class Description
This is an introductory course for nonscience majors on climate and climate change.  Its goals are to enable students to critically evaluate issues involving the Earth’s climate and how humans may be changing it, as well as to develop research and writing skills.  Two themes will run through the course: the Earth's climate as a coupled system and the provisional nature of scientific knowledge.

See the syllabus and schedule for a more detailed description.
