Registering your Clicker for ATMS 111 Global Warming
The session ID that was given in class 357211 was for those using cell phones. If you have a clicker, you can forget the session ID. Instead follow these instructions:

1) Go to the website student.turningtechnologies.com
2) Enter your ResponseCard ID (found on back of unit, usually under the barcode)
3) Enter your first name and last name in the appropriate fields
4) Enter your student number in the box marked "Other Info"
5) Complete the security entry and press Next
7) Enter instructor's email address: bitz@atmos.washington.edu and press Display Classes
8) Select ATMS 111 and press Add and then Next
9) You must press Complete Registration on the final page or else nothing is saved. Before doing so, you may also press Back, if you find information you need to correct.

You may use a cell phone as a clicker, but you will need some special software (it isn't free)

We haven't tried this, yet but we have heard it works. There is a free trial offer for 30 days. We believe we have set up the classroom correctly. We will provide a session ID (presumably a different one each time) each class period.

It is unclear to us if any smart phone will work or if you must have an ipod, itouch, or blackberry. The web site below will have to answer all your questions or you can try tech support.
