This command specifies the vector Maximum Value.

Widget:
- From the vector Properties Window, enter the desired value in
the "Maximum value" box (see Producing
a Vector Plot).
Command:
Arguments:
- value: the vector Maximum Value you wish to apply to your
plot.
Examples:
Notes:
- IVE assumes that the Maximum Value you enter is expressed in
the same physical units as the magnitudes of the vectors in your
field.
- The Maximum Value scales all vectors in your field to the
distance between plotted gridpoints, or scale distance.
Thus, if the magnitude of a vector in your field exceeds the
Maximum Value, its magnitude on the plot will appear larger than
the scale distance. Conversely, if the magnitude of a vector is
small compared to the Maximum Value, then its length will appear
small.
