Help produce FieldNotes – an environmental journal focused on promoting undergraduate research and telling inspiring stories about the world around us.
The University of Washington’s Department of Atmospheric Science has maintained a free volunteer-based Outreach Program since 1989. Graduate students share their knowledge with K-12 students by judging science fairs, hosting groups wanting to learn more about the field, visiting schools for hands-on demonstrations and lectures, and other outreach activities.Read more
Peer Health Educators is a student organization that exists under the official University of Washington Health & Wellness office. Peer Health Educators are student volunteers who facilitate workshops, organize events, run health campaigns, and inspire passion for student health issues in groups all over campus.

The Environmental Science Center (ESC) is a non-profit organization, offering quality, experiential environmental education programs at local beaches, streams, forested areas, and in classrooms throughout South King County.

UW students are invited to apply for the 2019 cycle of UWRA Scholarships and Fellowships in Aging. Applications for both scholarships and fellowships are due January 30, 2019.
These awards are available to students in any field who are pursuing research or preparing for careers related to aging.
The Washington Directed Reading Program (WDRP) is a new initiative from the Mathematics Department, which launched in Fall 2018. WDRP is modeled after successful Directed Reading Programs (DRPs) at other universities around the country.Read more
