The Education Rome 2020 Exploration Seminar is in its third year and currently accepting applications with a priority deadline of Friday, February 15th.
It is a 3-week program based at the UW Rome Center (right in the heart of the Italian capital) that explores the impact of historical and contemporary concepts of gender and multiculturalism.
The Brothers in Color RSO, which is a student organization started by students in the Brotherhood Initiative, (BI) has started back up for this quarter.
This organization was born out of the realization from BI students of the support and community they receive and how there are other students on campus who could benefit from that as well.
This event is free and open to the community.
UW First-Gen graduate students, staff, and faculty will screen their powerful digital stories of being in the first generation of their families to earn bachelor’s degrees and more, followed by a panel conversation.
