Join the MS in Entrepreneurship team for an information session to learn about the 12-month Master of Science in Entrepreneurship at the UW Foster School of Business. During the session, the team will give you an overview of the program, discuss the admissions process, and answer any questions you have. Guests are always welcome.

Have an idea for a business? Want to connect to students, alumni and professional entrepreneurs that have the resources to help turn your idea into reality? Sign up to pitch your idea in 60 seconds to the EVCC’s and Buerk Center’s panel of judges. Each good idea will win a $60 cash prize! There will be an opportunity to meet MBA students, alumni and students from other UW programs. Pitches can range from early product concepts to well-established business plans. Judging criteria and pitch resources will be distributed to students interested in pitching. Please RSVP even if you are only interested in networking and watching the pitches! The Buerk Center’s certificate in entrepreneurship prepares University of Washington graduate and PhD students for the world of start-ups and new technology enterprises. Our emphasis on cross-campus involvement means you’ll take entrepreneurship courses alongside students from other disciplines, work with UW inventors on their market-ready applications, and have the opportunity to apply for fellowships in UW technology ventures or local angel funds. Certificate students, whose disciplines range from engineering and architecture to drama and medicine, take classes, gain real-world experience, and network with the region’s most innovative entrepreneurs. Working together, students bring ideas to life. Rolling admissions.

APPLY:  2020 Science and Technology Showcase (STS)

Applications are now OPEN for the 2019 Science and Technology Showcase (STS) hosted by the Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship and the Science and Engineering Business Association. Both undergraduate and graduate students with science or technology-based ideas that have commercial potential are invited to participate.

Students will deliver their pitch to a panel of judges that includes prominent entrepreneurs from the Seattle business community. Cash prizes will be available in a wide variety of categories. Previous STS winners have gone on to successfully launch start-up companies.
