Managing a Global Workforce:
Provides a working knowledge of international management as well as theoretical and analytical tools needed to make sound human resource and general management decisions in an international setting. Includes three modules. First, the economic, political, and cultural context of global businesses along with the employee relations, labor standards, and ethics in the global marketplace. Second, the major human resource functions (e.g. staffing, performance management, compensation, training and development, and knowledge management) in multinational corporations. And third,, major topics relating to international management (e.g., communication, team, leadership, diversity, and expatriation).
