isconnection (Datafeed Toolbox)

True if valid Bloomberg connection

Syntax

x = isconnection(Connect)

Arguments

Connect
Bloomberg connection object created with the bloomberg command.

`Connect`	Bloomberg connection object created with the `bloomberg` command.

Description

x = isconnection(Connect) returns x = 1 if the connection is a valid Bloomberg connection, and x = 0 if it is not.

Example

The command

c = bloomberg(8194,'111.222.33.444')

establishes a Bloomberg connection, c.

Then

x = isconnection(c)
x = 1

indicates that c is a valid Bloomberg connection.
