Information on wavelets.

Syntax

waveinfo
waveinfo('wname')

Description

waveinfo provides information on all wavelets within the toolbox.

waveinfo('wname') provides information on the wavelet family whose short name is specified by the string 'wname'. Available family short names are listed in the table below.

'haar'	Haar wavelet.
'db'	Daubechies wavelets.
'sym'	Symlets.
'coif'	Coiflets.
'bior'	Biorthogonal wavelets.
'rbio'	Reverse biorthogonal wavelets.
'meyr'	Meyer wavelet.
'dmey'	Discrete approximation of Meyer wavelet.
'gaus'	Gaussian wavelets.
'mexh'	Mexican hat wavelet.
'morl'	Morlet wavelet.
'cgau'	Complex Gaussian wavelets.
'shan'	Shannon wavelets.
'fbsp'	Frequency B-Spline wavelets.
'cmor'	Complex Morlet wavelets.

The family short names can also be user-defined ones (see wavemngr for more information).

waveinfo('wsys') provides information on wavelet packets.
