About me

Hi! I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington.

My interests include sea ice physics, polar climate variability, interactions between sea ice and ocean surface waves, and the Southern Ocean. I use (and develop) coupled climate models in combination with satellite and in-situ observations.

I completed my PhD at Victoria University of Wellington and the National Insitute of Water and Atmospheric Research in New Zealand, and prior to that I studied Mathematical Physics at the University of Edinburgh.
