The Viking Lander restoration and display activity is a component of the Live from Earth and Mars - Science, Technology, Education Partnerships, LFEM - STEP , program of Professor Jim Tillman, in collaboration with Finnish, European, North West, and NASA partners. Beginning with his Viking Meteorology Science Team membership, he has developed technology, science and education/public outreach over the past 25 years.
