Hi Tobin, Sunday Yes, email really can help with communicating. I am flying out the door today so this will be quick. I am going to be in Victoria Canada today and tomorrow, and I will be working on the Shi-Shi trip on Tuesday evening. I am attaching a Seattle PI article on Shi-Shi Beach which really explains the trip well http://www.seattlepi.com/getaways/148977_shishi20.html The hike is short, but there is an exceptionally muddy stretch. If you have gaiters, bring them. If you don't, we can use garbage bags. I would like to leave Seattle Friday night so that we can be hiking at 11:30am on Saturday and spend the whole afternoon on the beach. It is a 4 hour drive from Kingston (once you have gotten off of the ferry) to the Makah Indian Reservation. One could leave early Saturday morning and it would still work. I'm doing the "leave Friday thing" in response to requests on previous trips. I'll tell you about hotel, and camping options on Tuesday. I'm going to camp at a state park just east of Sequim.
