Graduate Student

University of Washington

Amy is a graduate student in the Atmospheric and Climate Science department at the University of Washington, Seattle. She is interested in understanding the role that biosphere interactions play in our climate, plant response to water-stress events like drought, and the influence of foliage coverage on air quality in urban environments. Prior to starting graduate school, she supported the planning of clinical trials across Roche within their Product Development team. She attended University of California, Berkeley for her undergraduate studies, where she graduated with a degree in Chemistry. In her free time, Amy likes going on walks and eating her way around the neighborhood, curling up at home to read books, and consuming too many potatoes.
