Zebra | McIdas | Iris | MSS Sounding Data

The IRIS program enables the user to view radar files of sigmet format, the data format produced by the DSWR-93S radar. It is available on the SGI workstation "sig1." Aeromet has prepared a brief tutorial; a text copy of which will be located in the Ops Center until it can be brought online.For further questions, it is advisable to refer to the online IRIS manual.

*IRIS was designed to control the radar as well as monitor radar data, but for Ops Center purposes will only be used in the passive sense.
