McIDAS is a program that allows the display of Satellite, Model, and Observational data of McIDAS AREA format. For Ops Center Purposes, the SGI workstation "mcd 1" will be used to run McIDAS. For a detailed tutorial, OPs center personnel should refer to a hard copy of the "McIDAS Familiarization Excercise" prepared by Bruce Sinkula (Aeromet).
