TRANSCRIPTS
• If you are a UW student, you may obtain a pdf of your unofficial transcript by logging into the MyUW Student tab and clicking "unofficial transcript" in the Student Personal Services panel. To generate a pdf, click "printer-friendly version" at the top right of the transcript screen.
• If you are not a UW student, please check with your current undergraduate or high school institution for the availability of a pdf version of your unofficial transcript. If a pdf version is not available, please obtain a paper copy, scan it, and convert it to a pdf. Hand-typed transcripts will not be accepted.
CURRICULUM VITAE/RESUME
• Your CV should be submitted as either a .pdf or plain text (.txt) document. Please do not submit any other file formats as they may not be compatible and/or they will not retain their formatting.
• If you have never written a resume or CV, you may want to search online for tips on how to organize or format your information. MSN recently posted a helpful article on the subject here. Alternately, your undergrad or high school institution may offer assistance on preparing a resume - check with your adviser or guidance counselor.
• We are not looking for an extensive or highly polished CV - we just want to see your basic background and experiences. Items you might want to include: educational history, work experience, internship or research experience, special skills, etc.
