Welcome to the online home of The AMS-PS Chapter! The goal of the American Meteorological Society is to facilitate communication between the various parts of the meteorological community--the National Weather Service and other federal entities, the University community, the private sector, and all others interested in atmospheric sciences.

The AMS Puget Sound Chapter was founded in 1935. Meetings generally feature lectures on current issues in atmospheric sciences. Our meetings are usually held in the conference room at the NOAA Auditorium at Sand Point.
